PureBlue has developed the HydrOzone++ for the removal of micropollutants, including pharmaceutical residues. Thanks to its strong oxidative properties, the HydrOzone++ can break down complex organic molecules into simpler, harmless substances. In contrast to traditional chemical treatments, ozone naturally breaks down into oxygen, without leaving harmful residues. HydrOzone++ presents itself, as ozone injection technology, as an alternative to the standard fine-bubble diffusers commonly used in water and wastewater treatment, allowing WWTPs to comply with the new EU Municipal Wastewater Directive.
